What's your favourite moment from being a student here?

Probably all the great times I've had with BLWHC, both on and off the pitch. They've a network of amazing women and I've never been part of a group of such incredible, supportive, inspiring people before.

What's something you've done that you're proud of?

Running the 70 years of Women in Medicine Event. I came to medical school without much confidence in my abilities to coordinate large events so when I managed this it was a real boost and made me believe that I could make positive change in the community. I learnt a lot from the experience, and being recognised at the association awards was pretty great too.

What is a problem facing students and how do you propose to fix it?

My position of welfare officer means I am all too aware of lots of the problems facing students, and have been working hard this year to improve them. From a secretary POV, my main aim is to increase engagement and understanding with the work of BLSA and QMSU, hopefully causing different parts of the study body to run for positions in the future.
