What's your favourite moment from being a student here?

Scoring for Bart’s Football.

What's something you've done that you're proud of?

Setting up a charity 5 a side football tournament for QM and Bart’s students, with proceeds going to selected charities. This was organised with covid-19 restrictions and really tested my teamwork, leadership and organisational skills but was great fun.

What is a problem facing students and how do you propose to fix it?

I believe BAME students are under-represented across Bart’s and think next year we could really improve the number of events and awareness across the year. I want to ensure everyone’s voices are heard by doing this, e.g. online anonymous forms and making myself individually readily available. I hope this helps to encourage the sharing of experiences amongst BAME students and others from all backgrounds.
