What's your favourite moment from being a student here?

I've thoroughly enjoyed by time at QMUL. However, the student union march against climate change back in 2019 was one of my favourite events. It was one of the first events I attended as a student and it was a truly amazing experience.

What's something you've done that you're proud of?

I am a member of the global health anti-racism sub-committee. I am proud to be contributing to the process of making BL a more inclusive space, where people from all backgrounds feel comfortable and represented- its something very close to my heart and I feel very passionately about it.

What is a problem facing students and how do you propose to fix it?

I think many people, myself included haven't had the opportunity to interact with people outside of our courses. While this has been exacerbated by the pandemic, I feel this was an already existing issue on our campus.
Hence why I propose to work with BL clubs, societies and other representatives to host a variety of student led events- both academic and social so that everyone gets the most of their uni experience.
