The International Representative (Barts and The London) will gather feedback from and represent international students in the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry on academic issues and welfare issues affecting them. You’ll support the Vice President Communities and Vice President Barts and The London, and work with the other International Representatives (Humanities and Social Sciences and Science and Engineering) to encourage the students they represent to participate and engage with the Students’ Union.

What's your favourite moment from being a student here?

I would have to say that despite the unfortunate final result, my first merger cup was my favourite moment. I had a great time playing with the BL Men’s hockey team and then supporting our other sports clubs against QM. Hopefully this year Barts comes out with a better result!

What's something you've done that you're proud of?

I think one thing that I will forever be proud of is that I was able to represent U19's Scotland playing in a hockey home nations tournament. We came second!

What is a problem facing students and how do you propose to fix it?

I think a big problem currently affecting students is that students can feel that their voices go unnoticed. I hope that I can help prevent this from happening further by supporting colleagues in the BLSA and being part of a student association that takes extra care in representing its students. I can hopefully help make sure that the BLSA works like a well-oiled machine!
