What's your favourite moment from being a student here?
Being part of this years LGBT society freshers stall, as I will always remember for myself how important it was to have the confidence to go up to that stall in my first year and put my name down. I loved being part of that moment for the new young ones who want a more LGBT diverse life.
What's something you've done that you're proud of?
It's a cliché but it has to be the first time I came out to my parents, I was the most scared I've ever been in my entire life and to get those few strange words quietly out of my mouth for the first time is something I'm still so proud of a year later!
What is a problem facing students and how do you propose to fix it?
I'm lucky that I am able to be out and proud but unfortunately for some people that just isn't possible right now, so I want to make sure the events I make and help with are made with anonymity and inclusivity so people can come without any fears of repercussions.
