Your Choice for Alumni Officer: Ainaa Khan or Esther Awe?
The Alumni Officer shall work to foster relationships with Barts and The London graduates and be responsible for liaising with the BATLAA (Barts and The London Alumni Association). They will work with the Vice President Barts and The London, and the University Alumni team to provide regular updates to Barts and The London graduates and support with events and activities. The Alumni Officer will also develop relationships between Barts and The London sports clubs and Societies and Barts and The London graduates. This is a non-representative position and does not sit on Student Council.

What's something you've done that you're proud of?
Been able to take part in multiple QM programmes and do my coursework
What is a problem facing students and how do you propose to fix it?
Some students are part of a degree they love but do not where they see themselves in the future. Perhaps the degree is quite new and many employers are not aware about it, but this should not stop them from studying towards a degree that they enjoy. nor should anyone study a course with the intention of being able to have a job, and missing out on doing what they love!

What's your favourite moment from being a student here?
I'm going to answer this indirectly, as there's no one thing for me..
Networks and relationships are central to life, and university is where many of these networks will be formed. I have built up an awesome network at Barts.
So essentially, it's the people I've met and the interactions I've had that I've enjoyed most!
What's something you've done that you're proud of?
Half marathon with Rach Poole ❤️
What is a problem facing students and how do you propose to fix it?
I don't think the alumni and current students interact enough. I'd like to create more student scholarships, internships and projects, by working with enthusiastic, philanthropic alumni to make Barts an even better place to be.
I want to strengthen the bond between old Bart's and present day Bart's. Vote for me!
