What's your favourite moment from being a student here?

My favourite time at Barts was the elections results night party last year. It was a lot of fun to see everyone winning and was very happy when I found out that I had won as well.

What's something you've done that you're proud of?

I am proud of my help to the NHS during the COVID pandemic. During the first 2 lockdowns I returned to full time volunteering in a local pharmacy to aid dispensing and delivering medications to those who had to shield. During the 3rd lock down, I have been volunteering with the family liaison support team at the Royal London Hospital to ensure that families can still contact their relatives on the wards.

What is a problem facing students and how do you propose to fix it?

The pandemic has caused a massive disruption to everyone’s education. As clinical rep, I would continue my work from pre-clin rep to help ensure that nobody is disadvantaged and that the university provides us ample opportunities to catch up on missed teaching. As part of this I will also ensure that the adjustment for our rankings for EPM are fair and reflect the challenges we have faced due the pandemic.
